Aircraft Ownership

It’s about Time, Not Wasted.

You can’t buy or make time, but you can save time and energy by traveling on your private jet. From family to business, you are able to focus on what is important to you. Set your own travel schedule and land closer to your final destination. Remove the stress of major airport travel. Have the comfort and privacy of your own cabin and amenities while in flight.

Fly out of Dallas, TX, in the morning for your first meeting in New York City, then fly from New York with your CFO to Raleigh, NC to close the deal.  Be home to have dinner with your family.

Private jet ownership allows you to connect on your schedule.

The experienced professionals at Rectrix Aviation are here to assist you – using their years of experience to help you determine your need for the type of ownership based on usage, range, and cost – by taking into account comfort, amenities and start-to-finish operating costs. After your needs are assessed, we advise on the appropriate aircraft purchase and set out to make it happen for you.

Ownership Options

  • Full Ownership – You own or lease the aircraft and are responsible for all aspects (crew, maintenance, etc.), the management of which is most often outsourced to a company with services like Rectrix Aviation & Aerodrome Centers offers you. As the owner, you may also opt to charter the aircraft to alleviate full ownership costs.  Full ownership is the pinnacle of freedom and mobility.
  • Fractional Ownership – You own/buy a portion of the aircraft and are guaranteed certain usage rights as an owner within your agreement. Monthly maintenance fees and minimal hourly occupied fees are also usually charged. You have access to a range of planes as provided by your fractional ownership provider. After your agreement term is up you may sell back your share of the jet to the organization for fair market value.
  • Card Programs (Time/Charter) – These plans are agreements for the aviation provider to offer you blocks of time to be used similar to a debit card.  The programs are usually used for a lower frequency traveler with packages around 25-30 hours of flying time.  This can be on a specific plane or open to a fleet of planes.
  • Charter Services/On-Demand – Chartering a plane amounts to quoting out each individual trip, where there are no guarantees until the travel is booked. Charges are usually quoted as an hourly fee for operations based on destination travel times.
